Sunday School Sunday School starts at 10:45 am and runs until 11:30 am. We have several different sunday school classes to fit the needs of people of all ages. If you don't know which class to go to, just ask someone and they will help you. Here are the classes offered: HUSTLERS Our class was organized in 1946. It was brought about by a division of the teenage class (Live Wire) and referred to as the married couples' class. They chose the name of Hustlers. The dictionary says that means to move or work with energetic activity. Several of our members have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversaries and are still faithful in attendance. Our card ministry sends out 20 or more cards each month to our church friends - thinking of you, birthdays, get well, sympathy and anniversaries. This class has no age limits; it is a mixed group, couples and singles. We study literature from Union Gospel Press. The Hustler's have recently supported William Sprouse in his outreach ministry, Campus Crusade for Christ, Wood Co. Habitat for Humanity Carpenter Club and the Food Pantry. We also support the church in any financial need. Our class enjoys eating out at a favorite restaurant several times a year for delicious food and good fellowship. The Hustler's Class meets downstairs in the former church parlor. We would gladly welcome new members. Come join us !! CHRISTIAN FRIENDS Our class meets in the former Friendship Class area right off the main sanctuary in the big side wing and is made up almost equally of singles and couples. Many of us are 50+ years old, but we are all young at heart! We laugh together, pray together, and cry together. Some of us have been in that same class for over 30 years, so we truly feel like family and share each others joys and sorrows. We welcome new members. If you do not have a Sunday School Class home, please come join us. We are sure you will be uplifted spiritually and enjoy the good Christian fellowship. We have monthly outside class activities. We sponsor the annual Shoe Box Ministry, fellowship dinners, help with feeding the homeless, and have get togethers at class member's homes. PAIRS and SPARES Our class is a mixture of couples and singles ranging in age from the 20's to 50's but there is no age limit. We enjoy getting together several times throughout the year for good times and fellowship. We meet in the small side wing off the main sanctuary. New members are always welcome! JUNIOR/SENIOR HIGH As the class name implies, it is for young adults who are in junior and senior high school.  This close-knit group participates in open discussions on how the Bible relates to modern day topics.  Also meeting in the evening, these young adults participate in the Adoration Singers choir, the Peace and Hope Puppet ministry and other church functions.  The junior/senior high youth are a very active class with an annual Kings Island trip, Summer Youth Celebration, cookouts and local mission projects.  They would gladly welcome new members. BUSY BEAVERS This class is for 4th through 6th grades. Our class is a class with a lot of energy! We learn, play, and pray together to learn more about Jesus! New members WELCOME!! LIVE WIRE Children in this class are in grades 3 through 6.  The literature used is Bible Studies for Elementary.  This literature follows the church calendar which helps this age group understand both the Bible and how Christians celebrate various holidays and seasons.  Students are encouraged to memorize the books of the Bible and to participate in class discussions of the current lesson.  We are always looking for new members. BLUE RIBBON This class is for kids in 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. The class teachers are Christina and Matt Wilson. The members of this class enjoy a wide variety of crafts and painting projects. It's the goal of the Blue Ribbon Sunday School class to provide those who attend with a better understanding of the Bible and the meaning of being a Christian. If you have children in this age group we would love to have them come join us. PRE SCHOOL Our class (approximate ages 2 - 6) would like to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to spend some amazing class time to "come on down!" If you can't join us for Sunday School, be sure to take a look at the pictures of Jesus with the little children outside our classroom - mounted on the wall in the hallway. In our class we learn about Jesus and the many stories in the Bible. We also learn sharing, caring, and love of others through our Bible stories, sometimes with the help of "Shaggy" the donkey or "Wooly" the lamb. We might sometimes be a little noisy and robust as we play games and march to music, some of our own making. We have quiet times too, as we mold Play-Dough, or write on the chalk board. Sometimes we do crafts.
