Pastor's Message Welcome to South Parkersburg UMC!   We are delighted you chose to visit our website.  We hope you will be blessed by the messages found here.  If you are searching for a church home, we'd like you to know there's a special place at 1813 Rayon Drive just for you. The 150th Psalm instructs "...Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord!"  We would love to have you join us in worship and praise of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Because Jesus lives, we also can live with Him eternally. SPUMC is a place that offers hope and opportunity to all. We are a congregation of about 250 members seeking to live out God's call to ministry, as we strive to Know Christ and Make Christ Known.  We are a people of Grace.  Life can be complex with many twists and turns.
