Note of Interest:  It is such a sad experience for an older person to get to the end of life and be unable to control, or even sometimes have a voice, in what happens to him/her at this stage in life.  The desire to live alone but also to have a good quality of life.  If the right decisions have not been made and the individual's health and safety is in crisis, the person's world seems to begin spinning out of control.  FaithLink volunteers have been a part of some of these crises and therefore has made it a priority to provide some information sharing regarding this situation through a LinkUp.

Who Should Attend:  Family of aging relatives, volunteers or professionals who work with the older population, those who are in or preparing for the senior years.  Anyone who wants assistance in knowing how to make the responsible decisions for those years!

Tuesday, March 16 beginning at 6:00 pm there will be a make-up session downstairs in the church for all individuals who have not participated in Safe Sanctuary Training.  This includes ALL individuals that interact with Children, Youth, and Adults 65+ (Sunday School Teachers, Van Drivers, Small Group leaders, Wednesday Evening leaders, Youth workers, Clergy).  Please see Christina Prunty with any questions or if you are unsure if this involves you.  This is an open training and all individuals are welcome to attend.

The secretary is in the office all day on Wednesdays (except 12-1 lunch).  Please have announcements for the bulletin turned in by Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. - call 428-1195 or email to spumc@verizon.net.

HELP...Please write announcements, prayer requests or blessings and give them to the liturgist PRIOR to the beginning of worship services so we can get the names correct and they can be read into the microphone for all to hear.  Thank You!

You are invited to WALK IN THE CFC on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.  A great time for walking at your own pace, inside out of the weather, and also for good Christian fellowship.  Blood pressure taken on Fridays.
