Calendar Items (to Kay Wilhelm) Sept. 19 - Gospel Group to sing on Sunday morning Sept. 22 - 6 pm - Charge Conference with District Superintendent, Dr. Ken Krimmell at Pettyville UMC Sept. 28 - Pastors' School (9/26-9/30) Oct. 10 - Undie Sunday Click here to see the Aug. 29 Bulletin Choir to perform Cantata - "O Holy Night" The adult choir will again perform their annual Christmas Cantata on Sunday morning Dec. 19, and would love to have you help bless the church with this cantata.  Practices will be from 5:15 to 5:45 pm each Sunday evening beginning Sept. 12.  On Sept. 5, we will have our annual "Christmas Party" where we bring "finger food" and listen to the cantata in the CFC!  All who would like to participate are welcome to come join us even if you have never sung in a cantata before.  We need to know how many will be singing, so please see Mike or Karen Branch by September 5, 2010.  THANK YOU!! All Tweens - Please Notice: "A United Methodist Is... There will be a 6-week study on this subject from 10:00-10:30 am Sunday mornings.  This study is open to any Fifth or Sixth grader. September 19-October 24 DVD's of our service are now available.  Order forms are in the back of the pews.  Please complete and place in the offering plate, or place in the clear plastic tray on the secretary's desk or call the church office. The secretary is in the office all day on Wednesdays (except 12-1 lunch).  Please have announcements for the bulletin turned in by Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. - call 428-1195 or email to spumc@verizon.net. HELP...Please write announcements, prayer requests or blessings and give them to the liturgist PRIOR to the beginning of worship services so we can get the names correct and they can be read into the microphone for all to hear.  Thank You! You are invited to WALK IN THE CFC on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.  A great time for walking at your own pace, inside out of the weather, and also for good Christian fellowship.  Blood pressure taken on Fridays.
